The Brief, Research & Concept
We wanted to design a T-Shirt that would resinate with both people that suffer with mental health and those that do not. The aim here was to give a positive affirmation to the wearer, whilst giving a statement to anyone that would see the T-Shirt being worn.
A fundamental part of the design was to include the semi-colon symbol. The semi-colon symbol was created to symbolise affirmation and solidarity against suicide, depression, addiction, and other mental health issues, the semicolon inspires strength in the midst of suffering.
By using that as our focal point, we were able to bring it all together with the 'O' and 'G' respectively in the saying "You Got This".
