Phase 1
The Brief, Research & Concept
Mandy at Tried & Tasted came to us looking for a professional logo design for her private catering business. Through initial conversations with Mandy it was evident at how passionate she was about food. All her food is made by hand and that rustic, homely feel was something we wanted to carry all the way through her branding project.
Our initial concepts had the 'and' as part of some root vegetables, but we later decided to strip it back to a simpler logo-type style instead.
Why did we design this shirt?

Phase 2
Strategy & Production
We went with a hand lettered styled typeface to maintain the handcrafted aesthetic of her product. The worked really well as an overlay on her existing food photography. We also created a textured background for the logo to be used as a dark variant. The textured background was create by hand drawing root vegetables which further emphasised the rustic nature of the business.
Phase 3
Outcome & Delivery
In the end, we created a brand identity that really stands out amongst the rest. It truly embodies class and the skill that Mandy possess to create unique experiences through food.. We get so much joy seeing how proud Mandy is with her new branding in every inspiring social media post.
